Customer Service Customer Service tells you what the Youth Participation Shop is all about, how it was developed and the guiding principles behind it. You've entered the "1 Stop Youth Participation Shop"! Inside, you'll find everything you need for effective youth participation. We've decided to use a Supermarket metaphor to help you navigate this site.

What's the connection?
Good question! Well, meaningful youth participation is a lot like a good meal… You need lots of:
  • different ingredients
  • some utensils
  • and time and energy to create a tasty dish.

The same few things make for a winning youth participation recipe.

    So what do you do?
Make a shopping list and include the items you think are appropriate to your need to get young people involved. Next, surf the store sections for helpful information, sample models, and relevant links. Finally, take your shopping cart of ideas and examples home and apply them to your project, organization, or community. Don't be afraid to experiment… some of the world's best cuisine was discovered by accident!

One more thing, nobody likes to eat the same thing ALL the time, so remember to try a variety of ideas and approaches… it's the only way you're bound to get award winning results!
