Just released: Social media use among BC youth

We are excited to share that a new report, Beyond the likes: Social media use among BC youth has been released.

This report takes an in-depth look at the role of social media in the lives of male, female, and non-binary youth in BC. Using data from the 2023 BC Adolescent Health Survey, completed by around 38,500 Grade 7-12 students in BC, it explores youth's experiences using social media and its links to their health and well-being, as well as the supports that may be helpful for young people needing help for their social media use. The report is available for download here.

If you missed the webinars, you can download the PowerPoint of the presentation here or you can watch a video of the presentation here.
