Community Research Partnership
Offers a research practicum for college students to answer research questions of interest to community agencies. Projects focus on evaluating services and improving youth health.
The partnership includes:
Student Research Group
Involves students from a variety of disciplines and academic institutions conducting secondary analysis of McCreary data.
Objectives include:
- Making use of the Adolescent Health Survey, Homeless Youth Health and Wellness Survey, and other McCreary datasets.
- Disseminating knowledge gained from the surveys through presentations and publications to academics, researchers, and other professionals.
- Providing mentorship and research opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students.

Data Access
Research projects involving secondary analysis of BC Adolescent Health Survey, BC Homeless Youth Health and Wellness Survey, or other McCreary data are conducted in collaboration between McCreary and academic institutions.

Access to racial and ethnic data
McCreary Centre Society supports the use of its data to understand the experiences of youth from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, and has criteria in place for any study which intends to consider race and ethnicity using McCreary data.
